Message from MIT Physicist Dr. Kabat

Rashidul Bari 5 BA, 2 MA, 1 Doctoral (2021)
I've earned five bachelor's and two master's in computer science, political science, physics, economics, mathematics, and physics education from York College, Brooklyn College, CCNY, Lehman College, and NYU (as a CRISP scholar). Now, I'm a doctoral candidate in math education at Columbia University. Lehman College has featured me on its campus banners.

My goal is to revolutionize the educational system so that every child gets an equal chance to become the next Newton or Einstein. I will make this dream a reality through 180 Physics Websites to meet the needs of all seven types of learners. I worked so hard to accomplish this dream that I collapsed on the last day of school, just a few hours after I delivered my Farewell Speech on June 25. This was followed by my two sons' emotional speeches, here and here. However, miraculously, the doctors were able to save my life. Now, I'm working even harder to make this dream a reality, because I believe that if given the chance, everyone can become Einstein, and these websites will give everyone a chance.

In Sempter 2021, I received a $2000 Faculty Grant from the Brooklyn Tech Faculty Grant Commitee to create 180 Physics Websites. Please find my Resume here. and watch the Mission Statement.
